We draw inspiration from a popular proverbial phrase that teaches us what to do when life throws us lemons, as it encourages optimism, resourcefulness and resilience in difficult situations. Here at The Lemon Tree, we are dedicated to fostering a positive and enriching educational experience aiming to nurture critical thinking, creativity and a sense of curiosity in each student- young and old. And while we won’t be adding the proverbial vodka or making juice or squirting someone in the eye, we embrace an all encompassing approach to language learning, be it through tried and tested game-play , group projects, specialised classes, dramatic role-play, camps, workshops and outdoor explorations, students actively participate in the learning process.
Learning a is a life-long journey and we are committed to fostering interest in culture and foreign language, which ultimately nurtures a growth mindset and encourages resilience. To that end, we love celebrating achievements, big and small.

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the Internet where all my passions come together. I am a Nigerian living in Slovenia. With a total of 10 years’ teaching experience here and abroad, I am passionate about children and dedicated to fostering a positive and enriching educational experience.
In addition to instructing at the Lemon Tree, I can be found lurking on Pinterest boards, trying out new recipes, crafting, putting outfits together, dabbling in photography, testing new games with my son, and shamelessly chasing the sun.
