Language arts
The Lemon Tree will host its first annual language arts competition. The competition aims to offer a unique opportunity for students to measure their English Language proficiency against the proficiency of other participants while helping to sharpen their literary skills. The tournament will offer two competitions : Spelling bee and Bananagrams.

Itinerary and rules
- Participants must be in the 2nd to 9th grade to be eligible to compete.
- Each participant will be given a list of words to study prior to the tournament.
- The competition will consist of a multiple of rounds, each round becoming increasingly difficult.
- Participants will take turns spelling out loud, with one point awarded for each correctly spelled word.
- If a participant misspells a word, they will be eliminated from the competition.
- The last participant standing will be declared the winner of the tournament.
