Cancellation/refund policy
Refund Policy
Our cancellation policy dictates whether you will have to pay for a class that you do not attend.
Here are the rules for cancelling individual courses:
Cancellation with more than 6 hours’ notice or more
If you can’t attend your English class, you must inform your teacher at least 6 hours before the class is due to start. In this case, you will not be charged for this class.
Cancellation with less than 6 hours’ notice
If you inform your teacher less than 6 hours before the start of the course, then the cancellation is invalid and will be considered as having attended the class.
No show
A no showis when a student does not show up to class or doesn’t log on to Skype or contact the teacher at the time of the lesson. In this case, you will be charged for the teacher’s time. However, the teacher will send you a reminder message and wait for you for at least half of the scheduled class time.
What if your teacher needs to cancel?
If the teacher has scheduled holiday dates or needs to take time off, you will be notified as soon as possible and your class will be rescheduled for another time.
Connection problems
If there re connection problems which make it difficult to carry out the class, the first class will not be charged to the student. You and your teacher should look for other solutions to this problem such as:
- getting as close as possible to the wifi router
- connecting via cable rather than the wireless connection
- switching to another videoconference platform such as Zoom or Whatsapp.
Cancellation of a course
If you can no longer attend lessons, it will, of course make us very sad to lose you as a student. If you are not happy with your classes, which is very rare, there are some options we can look at before resorting to cancellation of the full course:
- You can give us feedback about your classes and we can work together to adapt the course content.
- Try changing the length of your classes- to fit better with your schedule or help you feel less tired.
- If after considering these options, cancellation is the only option left, we can offer you a full refund for hours left in your package.
Refund policy
Please read our terms and conditions.
